Blossom Trail Art Show at Shinn Photo
Reedley High School’s Art Students have put together a great show, and are displaying it in the space next door to the studio, thanks to Veronica Barragan at Country Club Mortgage. We’ll be hosting a reception at the studio on Thursday, with details below. If you’re not able to make it Thursday, at least stop by and see the art in the front window. It’s great stuff, and a wonderful celebration of Spring! The show will be up all month, making Downtown Reedley look just a little bit more swell.
My first senior portraits | Reedley Senior Portrait Photographer
I’ve had the privilege of making tens of thousands of senior portraits, but I looked back in the archives today to see what my first senior portraits looked like. (Caveat: these aren’t literally the first senior portraits that I made. This may actually represent the second session. The first one was with a wonderful guy named Andrew, and took place on the beach in Quincy Bay south of Boston. But this is the first session I had the privilege of photographing after moving to California.) My subject’s name is Julian, and he’s a drummer. I don’t recall ever actually hearing him play, which is something I regret. But I remember the April sunshine and a mild spring day, and Julian’s willingness to work patiently with me to make senior portraits. Thanks to Julian (and his mom, Angie) for giving me the chance to work with you!
2012 Reedley High Yearbook Team | Reedley Senior Portrait Photographer
Every year, I get to do something fun and creative with the Reedley High School Yearbook staff. This year, we decided to shoot in the studio on a high-key background. They had a lot of fun ideas, and I love their energy and enthusiasm. Here’s what we came up with! Enjoy!
Senior Portrait of the Day: McKenna | Reedley Senior Portrait Photographer
McKenna’s session was at her grandparents’ house, a place where she has a lot of great memories. The location itself was a little slice of heaven, and I really enjoyed the time with McKenna and her family. Thanks for a fun senior portrait session, McKenna!
2012 Senior Model – Billiann | Reedley Senior Portrait Photographer
Billiann contacted me on Facebook to let me know that she wanted me to rock her senior portrait session this summer. I love that kind of enthusiasm, and Billiann’s a great source of it! I enjoyed her mini-session this summer, and look forward to more pictures with her in the Fall! Thanks for being on of our senior models, Billiann!
2012 Senior Model – Allison | Reedley Senior Portrait Photographer
Allison’s a fun girl! If you need evidence of that, just check out the video she helped make for our 2012 Model Release Party. Here’s her video, and a few of my favorite senior portraits from her mini-session. Enjoy!
Fun with prom
Randy Bricker, our rep for senior portraits at Reedley High, earned a limousine to prom courtesy of Dennis at Image Limousine. Randy, who helped plan prom for Reedley High, took 12 of his friends with him in an Escalade and had a great time!
Thanks for the help, Randy. We hope you had a great time!
* P.S. – We’re accepting requests to be Senior Superheroes for the class of 2011 now. Interested? Hit us up on Facebook.
